All work and some play for Clyde

I'm still setting up my bed-and-breakfast concept in St. Croix. So, I'm painting, decorating, landscaping, pretty much working eight-to-twelve hours a day. All my friends think I'm lounging on the beach, but that's not happening.

It's a labor of love for me. That's why I decided to live in the islands, because I didn't want to vegetate. I wanted to keep active. I like sailing and gardening, and all the things that I'm doing now, which is a transition from New York.

In Vegas, I have a splendid view out my window at the hotel, so I leave the drapes open all the time. At night, it's magnificent. I see the whole strip. I can see Treasure Island, The Mirage, and all the other hotels up there. The lights and the mountains make for a magnificent view. I have breakfast there, I have lunch there, sitting and just watching the view, so it's very therapeutic. I sit there and do my yoga, my exercise, before I go down to the health club to work out.

I'm really happy to be in Vegas. I see a big change from back in the day when I used to come out here in the 1970s, when Caesar's Palace was perhaps the biggest place that they had. But now they have The Bellagio, The Venetian - one of my favorites that I've stayed at - and now The Wynn is the latest magnificent hotel, and I'm fortunate to be staying there. So, I'm really enjoying my trip here.

Clyde it's great to see that your so involved in the game after a great career. I have never been to St. Croix, but I sure would like to visit your B&B when it opens..By the way, is there a website, or will there be one available?? Couple of questions; How long will it take the Knicks to dig themselves out of such a huge hole? And, I always wanted to know; when you were playing did you or your teammates play in Summer League games, or play in the Rucker Pro Tournament?

CLYDE!
Keep up the great work my man. I am a young fan of the Knicks, but you by far are my favorite player. I love watching the old games on the vault, and seeing some razle dazzle, and of course, dishin' and swishin.

I definatly wanted to say that I LOVED that tie you had on for game one of the summer league. That looked like silk, of couse from the living ledgend. But that pattern was awesome. You should give some hints to all the young bucks out there in the world on how to dress.

When I go to the garden I can always spot you by looking for the sharpest dressed man. My 8yo son can easily recongnise you, and has been bugging me for a jersey of yours. See a true knick ledgend lives in the hearts of the fans forever, generation after generation. Not unlike the BABE, or Lou Gerig, both of which you can still buy the jerseys of.
